firstly, the pride of the resort.. 1,400 sqm over-water villa.. 1,400sqm is HUGE!! as big as some terrace houses in singapore.. i heard it's the largest over-water villa in the world..u need a boat to get u there..

there're erm.. i cant rem the number of rooms.. huge huge place.. there's a mini gym, an indoor AND outdoor spa and numerous lounging areas..

and get this. there's a water slide!!!! so cool... they offered to let me slide down. but in the name of being professional and all, i didnt.

THE PRICE OF THIS MONSTER.. US$10,000 PER NITE!!!
there's an over-water wedding chapel too... of cos u have to take a boat there.. not too bad la.. quite lomantic la..

this circular ceiling truss is supposedly a traditional african method of construction.. and they flew 8 "real big and black african tribesman to do it". i kid u not..

there's a spa too... quite nice but nothing special by everything else's standards....i actually had a long interview with the general manager..he was talking abt his spa and i was telling him i wanted to try (cos of my backache and all) but so ex, i told him.. he immediately called the spa up and arranged a complimentary one!!!! kio diooooooooooooooo.. i later went to check how much it cost.. US$100!
there's this mini island in the lagoon.. with a single palm tree there. you can arrange to have ur dinner there.. they'd set up a table for u and ur date.. with a butler standing there waiting on u..i think it's very romantic.. but i scared scully halfway lau sai.. then really sianz.. u know those urgent kind that u HAVE to go now!!! i guess a hole in the middle of the island here isnt sucha bad idea...

the price of an opulent and decadent meal... US$280 for 2.
the main restaurant also quite cool.. nice and comfy chairs PLUS a circular lounging area in the middle with a view of the sea underneath.. that's uber cool really but i didnt really lounge there.. it'd be kinda weird to be lounging alone..

the huge log was washed ashore from the tsunami...they jus left it there.. i thought it was quite a nicely shaped log...
