It's a Small World After All

The industry I am in is really so small.

We just hired a head of development for Indonesia and I called to welcome him to the team and that I’ll be seeing him in the management conference in Cebu next month.

Before I could say more, he said he knew me and where I worked before??!?

Then he said he had written to me before in my previous company to ask if there’re any vacancies of which I told him back then that there wasn’t.

I actually cant remember him because I get mails like this pretty often. I’d like to think that I was quite courteous to him in my reply.

I shall try to be more mindful from now.
