Boring Jakarta..

Gosh, it's like a week since i blogged... partly cos internet access is so limited in jakarata.. partly cos i've been really really busy there and also partly and mainly cos it's soooo boring..frankly, i have nothing much to talk abt jakarta cos most of the time i was in my rm doing work.. work work work.. and just ordering room service to the room..in prob 3 days i was there.. i prob jus ate in a restaurant for 3 meals in total.. bleah.. not very fun really.. but of cos on every trip, i'd have some pics to show..

Till i saw this.. this entire christmas tree is made of lil donut thingies.. there's a contest in the hotel as to how many of these lil donuts were used to make the tree..for some reason, i got quite interested in the tree and starting to take pics of it.. i think my enthusiasm was quite apparent until my boss was amused...







i think one of the more interesting pics i took was this.. as usual, i was quite bored then i saw this statue on the road... so i took a pic of it.. my indonesian client came over and told me it was a controversial statue.. it shows a woman clinging onto or begging a farmer who has a rifle.signifying a communistic theme.. this statue quite new i think he said. and it kinda reminded the ple of the time when the communist political party was very powerful at that time..



amazing how so many countries in asia was communistic hor...

in the midst of my hectic work and shit clearing during my time in indo, i told my boss if he doesnt need me in the office on friday, i think i'll jus take one day leave.. he was agreeable, which means i'd have friday, sat, sunday and monday free.. so nice.. that's a pretty good way to start the new year..

in an amazing turn of coincidence, Goddess was on leave on friday too and we decided to do some shopping during the day time on friday and have some high tea.. it'd be nice to live like tai tais for a change...
