Today in history, 7 December 1941, the insidious japanese launched a surprise attack on Pearl Habour, officially dragging the US into WWII.
6 June 1944, the US and UK landed on the beaches of Normandy in Operation Overlord in the greatest air and sea armada ever assembled at that time and possible till today. 6 June is also my mum's birthday.
